Home connection issues

Ever since I updated to iOS 16 I have been having connection issues with home. I have 4 devices that use to connect without issues. The original HomePod, HomePod mini, Apple TV as well as my iPad Pro. Lately they have all been staying on standby and not connecting. I have tried to restart the HomePods with no luck. I’m running Eero 6 Wi-Fi if that makes any difference. I have a feeling I will probably have to delete my home and restart but I’ll take any suggestions I can get! Thanks!

Hi there grimmett,

We can provide some guidance. To begin, are you signed into iCloud with the same Apple ID on every device? Is iCloud Keychain turned on for each device?

To use and manage your home in the Home app on all of your devices, sign in to iCloud with your Apple ID on every device. Then turn on iCloud Keychain and Home in iCloud Settings.

Have a look at this link for more information: Add an accessory to the Home app

Additionally, try the steps in this support article for your HomePod and HomePod mini to see if they resolve the issue for you: If HomePod mini or HomePod isn't responding

If the issue persists beyond that, you'll want to reach out to Apple Support directly. They're best-equipped to take a closer look and provide some additional guidance. This link will help you get started: Contact - Official Apple Support

Take care.

Hello!

I am signed in with the same Apple ID as well as keychain was turned on. Nothing was changed prior and after the update. I did however got my home to start working again. I ended up just resetting both my HomePods I have as well as I logged out and signed back into into my apple TV. If I do encounter this issue again I will definitely check out the troubleshooting tips you have provided. Thanks!
