Hi GruuvyG,
Sorry to hear you are having trouble with your personal automation on your iPhone.
To set up a personal automation that automatically turns off airplane mode and wifi when you leave your house, you will first need to create a shortcut that performs these actions. To do this, follow these steps:
- Open the Shortcuts app on your iPhone.
- Tap the plus (+) icon in the top right corner to create a new shortcut.
- Tap "Add Action" to add a new action to your shortcut.
- In the search bar, type "Airplane Mode" to find the "Set Airplane Mode" action.
- Tap the "Set Airplane Mode" action to add it to your shortcut.
- In the "Set Airplane Mode" action, tap the switch next to "Turn Off" to turn off airplane mode when this shortcut is run.
- Tap "Next" to continue.
- Tap "Add Action" again to add another action to your shortcut.
- In the search bar, type "Wi-Fi" to find the "Turn Off Wi-Fi" action.
- Tap the "Turn Off Wi-Fi" action to add it to your shortcut.
- Tap "Next" to continue.
- Give your shortcut a name and tap "Done" to save it.
Once you have created your shortcut, you can set up a personal automation to automatically run it when you leave your house. To do this, follow these steps:
- Open the Shortcuts app on your iPhone.
- Tap the Automation tab at the bottom of the screen.
- Tap the plus (+) icon in the top right corner to create a new automation.
- Under "Personal Automation," select "Leaving" as the trigger for your automation.
- Under "Where," select your home address.
- Tap "Next" to continue.
- Under "Ask Before Running," ensure that the switch is turned off. This will ensure that your automation runs automatically without prompting you each time.
- Under "Shortcut," select the shortcut that you created earlier to turn off airplane mode and wifi.
- Tap "Next" to continue.
- Give your automation a name and tap "Done" to save it.
Your personal automation should now be set up and ready to run automatically when you leave your house. If you encounter any issues or if you have any further questions, you may want to contact Apple Support for assistance.
