Question is in the title. My touch controls don't work. These airpods were delivered yesterday.
At first I thought I just got suckered into buying the worst product ever, then realized that I'm actually supposed to be able to play/pause/skip etc.
Any advice? I already reset the airpods. Maybe I need these replaced.

Let's use the steps below to make sure your iPhone is all up to date:
1. Back up your device using iCloud or your computer.
2. Plug your device into power and connect to the internet with Wi-Fi.
3. Go to Settings > General, then tap Software Update.
4. If you see more than one software update option available, choose the one that you want to install.
5. Tap Install Now. If you see Download and Install instead, tap it to download the update, enter your passcode, then tap Install Now. If you don't know your passcode, learn what to do.

Same issues on my mac and my iPhone. Software up to date. I'm getting a replacement. So that's the solution.
Brand new airpods pro (2nd gen) touch controls don't work and have never worked, right out of box brand new.
