Hi Matrix1031,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. We understand that you're having an issue with the Cartoon Network app on your Apple TV. We'd like to help you enjoy this app again.

Is Apple TV updated? We have a new tvOS released so we want to make sure you're on that so we can rule that out as the cause of this issue. Follow these steps to check your version and manually update if it's not currently running tvOS 16.2:

Update your Apple TV manually
1. Go to Settings > System > Software Updates and select Update Software.
2. If there's an update, select Download and Install.
3. Wait for your Apple TV to download the update. Keep your Apple TV connected and plugged in to power until the update is complete.

After the update downloads, your Apple TV will restart, prepare the update, then install it. When the update is complete, your Apple TV will automatically restart again.

If you're already updated, or this didn't help with the issue, please remove the Cartoon Network app and reinstall it:

Delete an app
1. Select the app you want to delete, then press and hold the clickpad center (Siri Remote 2nd generation or later) or touch surface (Siri Remote 1st generation) until the app starts to jiggle.
2. Press the Play/Pause button  for more options, then choose Delete.

Deleting an app also deletes its data. You can download any app again that you’ve purchased on the App Store, free of charge, but the data may not be restored.

Download an app
* In the App Store  on Apple TV, navigate to Buy or Get (for a free app), then press the clickpad center (Siri Remote 2nd generation or later) or the touch surface (Siri Remote 1st generation) to begin downloading.

If you see Install (with the iCloud icon), you’ve already purchased the app and you can download it again for free. If you see Open, the app is already installed; select Open to launch the app.

While an app is downloading or updating, its icon appears on the Home Screen with a progress indicator.

Let us know how that goes.

Cheers!
