Boop, boop boop sound coming from headphone, Air pod and air pod pro and bluetooth when in my car

I cannot figure out what causes a 3 boop sound to trigger on my macbook and iphone. It is boop, boop boop (descending tone after each boop). It seems to trigger randomly, at least I cannot figure out what triggers this behavior. It is becoming annoying and this is why I'm here writing about it in the hope someone can help me fix this.

It cannot be the battery because it is happening while my headphones are plugged into the laptop using a usb port. I'm listening to a lecture and every once in a while I hear (boop, boop, boop) and it goes away and re-appears a minute or so later and then it stops for 15 minutes and re-appears.

This also happens with the Airpod Maxs (fully charged or close to it) and also when I have the phone charging in my car and I'm talking to someone on the phone using bluetooth. I do not hear the 3 boops when sound is coming from the speakers of the laptop.
