Same here. I do not see an "Allow accessories to connect" option in the System Settings, then click Privacy & Security. I have a KVM switch connected to the mouse and keyboard. My Apple M1 Max and Ventura 13.4 is not recognizing, nor is the "Allow accessories to connect" option showing up. However, my Intel MacBook Pro 2018, with Ventura 13.4, recognizes and works just fine.

As the article states, it only applies to Apple Silicon laptops.
See this article: Allow accessories to connect to your Mac laptop computer with Apple silicon.
I am suspecting migrating from Intel to apple silicon is why the menu is not showing
Yes, I did that. But I was too lazy to redo the whole stuff. But will try it once.
So after all and checking around for me the problem was with the device. I made my mind a got a new hub based on thunderbolt. HP G4. This works amazing but has no card reader or ssd in it.
Same issue
Mac Studio with the Apple M1 Max chip, Ventura 13.2.1 - this dropdown is missing. Whenever I switch back to the machine via KVM the mouse doesn't work.
this is exactly my problem too!!! Can't see the Garmin GPSMAP....
any update?
I recently bought a display “Lepow”, it works great on my MacBook Pro 2020. Unfortunately, when I plug it to my Mac mini via usb c port it doesn’t recognize it. Is there any solution.
What’s weird is that it works as intended on the MacBook Pro, but the Mac mini doesn’t recognize it. Hope it gets fixed soon.
:(
I have the same issue and there doesn't seem to be a fix yet..
has this been fixed in an update?
Thank you. I filled out the forms at both links.
Ventura 13.5 didn't fix this either...
