iPad needs to be continuously approved to use iCloud account. How to stop that?

Since a few weeks (never had this problem before that), I am receiving notifications on my Macbook asking to approve my iPad to use iCloud. I have approved it hundreds of time but the notifications keep appearing even if my iPad (called Alabaster) is perfectly able to access my iCloud account.

In the last few days, the problem got more annoying having the notification popping up every hour or so (attached picture). I have checked on the apple forum but I couldn't find any solution.

Can someone help me getting rid of this annoyance?

Hello M5FKxCb6vE,

You may try using the device list at the Apple ID website here to remove entries for an iPad with that name: Manage your Apple ID

If there happens to be any devices in the list that you no longer own or use, such as an older iPad with the same name for example, then be sure to remove those as well.

On iPadOS you may also use Settings > [your name], and view the device list here for devices no longer being used.

After that, it may help to try changing the name for the iPad at Settings > General > About > Name. Then, restart the Mac and see if it still shows the prompts repeatedly.

Lastly, check to see if iCloud Keychain is enabled on the devices being used: Set up iCloud Keychain

Turn on iCloud Keychain on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
1. Tap Settings, tap [your name], then choose iCloud.
2. Tap Passwords and Keychain.*
3. Turn on iCloud Keychain. You might be asked for your passcode or Apple ID password.

Cheers.
