Dropping battery capacity

Hello,

I have iPhone 13 mini for 9 months and my battery capacity is 89%. I have to charge it twice a day - if I am using facetime even 3 times. I had my iphone 8 for 4 years and its capacity is 86%. Do you think it is normal or should I go to the apple service to check it up?

You will lose, on average, about 1% battery capacity a month. Your information indicates that you're losing it a bit faster than that, though not outrageously so. I would suggest that you contact Apple and arrange for them to run diagnostics. I believe they may even be able to do it remotely. My guess is that they will tell you that your battery is functioning within normal parameters but, if it's not, they can advise you on the next steps.

What happened with a completely different model of phone is really not comparable.
