You cannot use a gift card to purchase a gift card. Most gift cards are non-refundable unless required by law where you live. Try 1-800-MY-APPLE.
If you haven't spent any of the balance, click here and ask the iTunes Store staff to put it back onto the card. Apple doesn't allow it to be used on gifts.

You can't do that yourself. Contact Apple as described above.

You cannot have the funds returned to the bank. Again, try calling 1-800-MY-APPLE or use the link provided by Neil here. You may be able to put the funds back on the gift card by contacting Apple.
You'll likely need to buy a new gift card as those are usually non-refundable. Try 1-800-MY-APPLE
I have not used any of the card the $25 is still in my Apple account… I do not have a Apple Cash card or anything of that nature… This was just a transaction done yesterday and I wanted this card to be for my son-in-law, but I accidentally redeemed it not realizing that he hast to redeem it… The therefore how can I get my $25 back?
I guess I do not understand why I can’t use the $25 in my account now and have a gift card sent to me… Otherwise how do I get my $25 back
The card has not been used
The $25 has not been used yet. It is still in my Apple account at that… How can I get it out of that account and back into my bank
