Apple TV thumbnails of purchased shows are not showing up.

Good morning, iTunes777. I tried your suggestion and used the Search function instead of Library. Yes, I do see the episode icons using this approach. The problem, well, for me anyway, is a bunch of programs not in my library show up. I don't like the clutter and I hope I am able to see the thumbnails in my library soon. Hey everyone! I’ve been having this issue ever since the end of December (I am always up to date with IOS) what’s irritating is that it’s only with 1 movie out of a whole library! For me it’s Spider-Man No Way Home, a pretty new movie so there shouldn’t be any issues! What’s even more interesting is that on my Apple TV widget the thumbnail is there, and even on my actual Apple TV! But not my iPhone 12 Pro Max.. I actually have severe OCD so this is killing me

I purchased a brand new ipad mini 6 and didn't update to newest IOS- and when I downloaded my purchased TV shows the problem of NO thumbnail pictures for our 100+ episodes of Daniel Tiger, persisted :(

Apple please fix this. Special needs children need to see the thumbnails.

i receyved a new apple iPhone 14 for Christmas and I am having the same issue. I am disappointed in apple that they have not resolved this issue? There has to be a simple fix for this to restore the thumbnails. Will someone please look into this and correct this?

As per company policy, not only does Apple NOT read / get involved in their discussion boards, but they are also completely incompetent when it comes to resolving issues over the phone. Don’t buy Apple products and you will be one satisfied customer.

I gave up a long time ago on dealing with Apple and this forum. Not worth the efforts. This is a forum where Apple customers help each other with their products. You’re not going to get anything out of this forum from Apple or calling Apple either. You’ll just be losing time from your life that you’ll never get back. Trust me.

I’m having exactly the same issue since updating to 16.2 - doesn’t apply to the series thumbnail but to the individual episode thumbnails, and on my iPhone and iPad not the app on the TV itself

This is not helpful at all. It did nothing for the problem.

I’m having the same issue on my iPhone after the recent software update. What’s odd is the episode thumbnails show on my iPad but not iPhone. Both updated to 16.2. Very frustrating.

That is a workaround but not as convenient. The problem is a defect that needs to be fixed.

There was a recent software update but it did not correct the problem with the thumbnails as of yet. Will there be another software update coming out soon?

Mid February and I'm still having the same issue.
