set up time machine

Hello!

Use Time Machine, the built-in backup feature of your Mac, to automatically back up your personal data, including apps, music, photos, email, and documents. Just to confirm; are Time Machine settings not loading? What year is your Mac, and what version of macOS are you using?

My time machine issue is not addressed in the articles you linked. I would like to use my cloud storage as a backup but it isn't on the list of backup locations in my time machine "select disk". How do I add my cloud storage to this list?
