does apple screen time include apps running in background?

I have noticed that my iPhone applications are running in background in screen time since I have turned off all background activity settings also my battery drains without knowing. Can you explain me how do I turn off the background activity

why is settings always on my screen time? lately, my iphone 11 screen time shows that settings is my most used app. its been shown that it runs at least 20+ hours a day when i don’t even use it or i’ve killed it. i don’t know if this is an actual issue or what, but it’s bothering me. i restarted and force restarted my iphone and yet its still there. also whenever i check battery, it says that my settings has been on screen for only 8mins and drained at least 1% of my battery. any information could be helpful so i can figure out if this is a major issue. thank you.

Screen time showing for app not installed on my iPhone. When I go to screen time on my iPhone, I see an app called Agar.io which is a game by MiniClip. It is not installed and never has been on my phone but I am seeing daily usage. I do not have any other devices, but I do have a different game installed from the same publisher, but the screen time I see for Agar.io does not match the screen time for the other game. For example when I wake up there will already be screen time even though I am just picking up my phone for the first time that day.

As you could see on your device, apple screen time does include apps running in the background.

Lets take whatsapp as an example, It's written that 1h 53m is used on screen while 34m is used on background. If we take the total, thenit is 2h and 27 mins just as written.
