iPhone 14 pro max - screen unresponsive at times…

Sometimes, if I want to unlock my phone - it does not respond to any touch, until I lock-button turn-off screen, and turn screen back on again. Then touch works again.

sometimes - just in general use, screen freezes, and only locking/unlocking brings response back.

this has basically happened since I got the phone, and though all updates.

anyone have same issue? Any hardware recalls to do with this?

Hello guest_33,

First, try the steps here since they relate to issues with screens on the iPhone: If the screen isn't working on your iPhone or iPad

"Restart your iPhone or iPad.
Make sure that your screen is clean and free of any debris or water.
Disconnect any Lightning or USB-C accessories. If your screen works after removing an accessory, try using a different outlet, cable, or charger.
Remove any cases or screen protectors."
