MBP 2019 Intel monitor constantly goes to sleep while CPUs and fans continue running

Macbook Pro 16-inch, 2019

Processor: 2.3 GHz 8-Core Intel Core i9

Graphics: Intel UHD Graphics 630 1536MB, AMD Radeon Pro 5500M

Hello!

I have a persisting problem that only occurs when I play League of Legends.

Usually one of the cores goes above 100 degrees, and then monitor goes black.

It is not a normal sleep, since MBP is not awaken by pressing keys or moving mouse, but by shortly tapping the power button (and takes 4-5 seconds to have monitor on, and reconnect to wifi).

I am not using external monitors or keyboards, just a USB-C hub for a mouse.

I usually keep TG Pro app on, to keep track of temperatures and to keep the fans at maximum speed.

I tried running League of Legends with Metal graphics, but the problem persists.

I also started disabling the "Settings>Battery>Options...>Automatic graphic switching", in order to use the dedicated graphic card for better performance.

Please help me if anybody knows the cause or a potential solution!

There are reports of some MacBook Pro models getting warmer when being charged using the left-side USB-C connections, but whether that might help or hinder, or might help sufficiently?

And this is Intel, and Intel tends to run hot. Seemingly too hot, here.

I think you will want and need a chat with Apple Support, based on all the bridge-related chatter in the EtreCheck report, and your reported symptoms, and your reported history of efforts seeking to mitigate.

Thank you for the response!

I have ran the diagnostics multiple times but they always tell me the macbook has no problems.

I am using the add-ons to always maximize the fan speed, hoping it will reduce the temperature even by a little.

The log tells me the only antivirus program left is Apple’s, as I previously attempted to uninstall every other.

Another notable point is that the problem does not seem to occur when I am not using the charger. When I am using the charger, my “Optimized charging” is turned on. Do you think that could be the cause?
