I have my airpods charging, I go to get them off the charger then they are dead, like 0%. I did notice when they were on the charger the case % would go from 99 > 89 > 93 > 97 > 99 or something like that. It would randomly skip around %’s. Any tips greatly appreciated!
You may have a failing case. You would need to have it looked at or if someone near you had a case you can borrow put your AirPods in it. If they charge in that case then you know your case is bad and needs to be replaced. If still under warranty or you have AppleCare for them then it may be covered with a lower deductible. Otherwise you would need to pay whatever the replacement fee for your model
