Will not connect Google account to my Ical app on my Macbook - does not load

I am trying to add my google calendar back into ical - I removed it as the password had changed so was trying to re-add it.

When I go to the process and it says open in browser I just so see this loading panel. I've tried restarting my computer and still does the same too.

Can anyone help?

Hello fayelizzie23,

For issues with the Mail app, try backing things up and getting up to date:

Back up your Mac
Update macOS on Mac
After these steps, try adding the email account: Add email accounts in Mail on Mac (Select the appropriate macOS version at the top, for more relevant steps.)

Should the issue continue to occur, do you have issues signing in to the Google website? Or visiting the Gmail website in Safari? Which macOS version are you using on the Mac? That will isolate it further for us.
