Facebook ad after doing a text in Messages

I was having a text discussion on my MacBook Air in the messages app. It was the only app that was open. A half hour later I opened Facebook on Safari and the first ad I see is for the very product I was discussing in my text chat.


How is facebook reading my texts and sending ads? I thought Mac OS was supposed to me more secure that this!!

This has been an ongoing battle for along time FB scraping private information for pushing ad revenue...

You can try the option in Safari>Settings — Content blocker..(?)





I really do not know the answer. You can refuse to use FB.
