My User Library Containers Has Many Duplicate Folders - is this ok?

Hi all,

My User Library Has Many Duplicate Folders - is this ok?

In the ~/Library, open Containers.

I found 5 Mail folders !

I also see many other folders (non mail) that have duplicates

many dupes are from DEC 15

Is it a problem or ok? how can I fix this duplicate issue?

Disappearing e-mail files after renaming them? For Mac users: If you renamed an e-mail file folder and your e-mails in that folder disappeared, open mac mail, put the original name back on the folder, click on that folder with the now original name, then click on mailbox at the top of your screen, scroll down and click "rebuild" at the bottom of the drop down. All the e-mails should show up again for that folder. I just recovered more than 700 e-mails in two dozen folders. I sure hope it works for you.

How can I expand 'FOLDERS' that showed up after restart instead of what I had all the time which is a folder system??? My email system all of a sudden shows an item 'FOLDERS' instead of my email folder hierarchy....what the heck is happening, and how can I get back to my folder system?? Thanks for your help!

Yes. Get Info on each and look at the name and extension section. You will find they are all different.
