Email unread filter won’t turn off
and previous "helpful" links lead nowhere, to dead ends, no solutions.
Anyone have any REAL solutions?

Hi riclun,
We'd like to help suggest a path to help towards a solution. We are not sure which links you have followed, but looking over Filter emails in Mail on iPhone, these steps should work as intended and if this is not working as intended, we would recommend seeing if you have any iOS updates following Update your iPhone or iPad
- Back up your device using iCloud or your computer.
- Plug your device into power and connect to the internet with Wi-Fi.
- Go to Settings > General, then tap Software Update.
- If you see more than one software update option available, choose the one that you want to install.
If you are updated as well and this remains, your next best step is to contact Apple Support regarding this unexpected behavior.
