iPad as a stand alone Mac mini monitor?

I’ve done some research on this subject, but I wanted the input of the community. Is there a way to wire an iPad (Gen 9) to a Mac mini (2020/M1) to utilize the iPad as a primary monitor when on the road? Any native Apple solutions? Thanks!
