Audio when plugging MacBook Air in to TV via adapter and HDMI cable
When I plug my MacBook Air in to my tv using an adapter and HDMI cable, the sound drops in and out. Is this an issue with the laptop or the adapter?

Hello razzyatazz,
Are you trying to Use your TV as a display with Mac - Apple Support? If so, review the information here to make sure the connections are secure and working correctly:
If your Mac has a Mini DisplayPort, it may be able to send audio to your HDTV.
Note: If your Mac has a Thunderbolt or HDMI port, it can send audio to your HDTV.
1. Choose Apple menu > System Information.
2. In the sidebar, in the Hardware section, select Audio.
A list of your computer’s audio devices appears. If HDMI Output or HDMI/DisplayPort output is listed, your computer’s Mini DisplayPort can send audio.
Confirm that setup with us and we'll go from there!
Thanks.
