Ventura update trackpad not working

Update to Ventura 13.1 (22C65) on my MacBook pro 13-inch, 2019. Trackpad is not working. I tried different solutions that I found online but none are working.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 13.1

Hello VioletaIgnatti,

Thank you for reaching out in Apple Support Communities. If you haven't tried yet there are steps available that can help troubleshoot an unresponsive trackpad. Let's follow these steps:

If the pointer doesn’t move when using the trackpad with Mac
If the pointer doesn’t move when you use the trackpad on your Mac notebook computer, make sure you’re using only one finger on the trackpad. Depending on the type of Mac notebook computer you have and the options you set in Trackpad settings, using more than one finger on the trackpad may not move the pointer.
To see the options, choose Apple menu  > System Settings, then click Trackpad  in the sidebar. (You may need to scroll down.)

∙If there is an “Ignore accidental trackpad input” option in Trackpad settings and it’s turned on, using two fingers on the trackpad doesn’t move the pointer.

∙On some Mac notebook computers, you can use two fingers on the trackpad to scroll in windows that have scroll bars. If your Mac has this feature, you can’t use two or more fingers to move the pointer.

Following these steps may help and is outlined in this helpful article: If the pointer doesn’t move when using the trackpad with Mac

We look forward to hearing back from you.

Kind regards.
