Macbook can't do anything on startup screen even force shut down

Hi, so I left my mac for a while in stand by mode. When I back, I can't do anything with the mac. I can navigate the mouse but can't click anything, the password field is disabled, and keyboards can be pressed (the touchbar too) but I can't do anything. I tried to force shut down by holding power button for a while but nothing happened. Is there any reason and solution for this?
