iphone sends imessage/sms to wrong contact

My phone is an iphone 13 pro max on iOS 16.2. My wife has a 12 pro on iOS 16.2. My daugher has an XR on iOS16.2.

My wife and I have nearly the same phone number, but 1 digit off. For illustration purposes, mine ends in 1111 and my wifes ends in 1112. If I send my daughter an iMessage, she receives it properly. If she responds, the contact at the top of the imessage changes to my wife and it sends the response to her.

I've deleted our contacts in my daughter's phone and recreated them. I've removed the 3 of us from any shared group imessage chats. I've confirmed messages is using our phone numbers for send and receive. Also, phone calls and facetime work properly.

Any ideas?

We all have individual Apple IDs. entering the number manually into a new message pulls the correct contact. It's only once it is sent that things "get crossed". This happens as well when I delete both my wife 's contact and my contact from my daughter's phone. No contacts, enter the number manually, hit send, and it goes to my wife instead of me. This also only started happening last week, but otherwise has been fine for years.

Oh, and another point I failed to mention, it only happens 1 way - when my daughter sends me a message or replies to me. It goes to my wife. If she sends to my wife, it works fine.
