When i'm in my car and don't want to connect to carplay I turn my wifi off but recently it's been pushing a constant notification to turn on the wifi for carplay. I don't want to use carplay all the time as it sometimes messes with the audio of my phone calls. This notification continuously appears about once every 30 seconds even while i'm driving and trying to use GPS. I've had to close the notification 7 times now just to finish typing this. How do I stop it ?

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. We understand that you're having an issue with notifications while using CarPlay. We'd like to help.

Just to confirm, are you trying to turn off all CarPlay features while in the car? If that's the case, you may want to go into your CarPlay settings to see if you can make changes there.

Head to Settings
Click CarPlay
Choose Car/Model

From here you can either disable the option to Allow CarPlay While Locked or Forget this Car.

If you'd like to keep CarPlay on but just avoid the notification, the next best step is to turn off Bluetooth and see if that helps.
