hello, I recently got some water into my iPhone is charging port. In notification came up saying that moisture was detected. I clicked the dismiss button, and after that it stopped showing up and let my phone charge. I’m scared that I might have emergency overriden the notification, and that my phone is still at risk of damage. My question is, will the water notification show up again, if there’s risk of water damage. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for reaching out Jeon5108,

It sounds like you may have had some exposure to water with your iPhone. We can help.

Since water can lead to various hardware issues, we want to limit exposure as much as possible especially to any parts of the device we connect to power. That said, your best bet would be to Contact Apple for support and service to evaluate the device.

Hope that helps.

Take care.
