iPhone SE (2020) right side of screen not responding to touch

I ditched the iPhone--since Apple refuses to acknowledge the problem or provide a free solution to what is clearly a hardware failure--and got a Motorola Razr 2023 folding phone and I couldn't be happier with it, plus it was about the same price as a new iPhone, maybe even a little less.

Hello I experiencing right now left corner is noT responding im on io 17.4.1 and I noticed have some red and blue lines where not longer touch i tried move apps to right but nothing holds on i just made keyboard adjust

My 2 yo iPhone has problems with p m and backspace unless I turn it to landscape. Some apps can’t be changed to landscape so they are useless. Also have trouble to delete emails for past few weeks. Like the screen freezes. Any suggestions? Turned off multiple times, cleaned screen etc.

Starting today morning (as in right now where I am at), I have this same problem with the same mentioned iPhone SE 2020. I used to have this once one year back (back then the problem one day just fixed itself). I have not found any proper solution for this.

Okay, for some reason, I can’t see my last reply here. I will just add another one. This is definitely related to a RAM issue. I tried closing all the apps and shutting down the display. When I reopen it the display the touchscreen works again >> now that I write here it stopped working again.

I have the current latest iOS version 17.6.1.

This 1 cm stripe is driving me crazy, it's been a month now. At a certain point the screen started working normally again, but just for few days. Update 17.6.1 did not solve it neither... So I am definitely reconsidering purchasing from Apple in the future.

Hopefully they fix it on the IOS 17.0, it really frustrating no damage on the screen and it just does this

this happened after I visited a web page, resolved after I closed the tab and rebooted the phone

Happened again today while there was no other apps running. Might be a memory issue!!!

I really wasn’t expecting this to happen on an IPhone. Will consider going back to android

Has anyone been able to find a fix for this? It started happening to me today completely out of nowhere.

has anyone managed to fix it by downgrading iOS below 16? or maybe by updating to ios 17?

I don't think it's possible to downgrade to iOS 15 any longer.

Happened to me too today, suddenly without any physical damage on the phone or water. Nothing works

The arrogance of Apple is astounding regarding this problem. I’m going to ditch my iOhone (see, there’s the problem in action) and get an android phone. I’ve had it with Apple ignoring this issue.
