I closed my move ring on Tuesday 17 January. Today, Thursday, it has reopened. Why??? On Wednesday I was awarded longest move streak I am now back to 1 day streak. I am so frustrated. My minutes for exercise and hours for standing are also out of control. My watch and phone are up to date and restarted

I am not sure I understand. If I wear my watch and exercise and have the effort recorded, how can it unrecord itself? It makes no sense that two days later the app decides to delete my efforts.
The Health app which drives the Fitness app will have multiple data inputs. If the priority source comes in after the secondary, eg you closed the loop on the iphone but then smaller data came in from the Watch then it will correct itself.
It really is not doing your health any good to worry about things like streaks, it is a gimmick invented by fast food and gambling companies, best ignored.
I posted two photos: one on Tuesday which shows my move ring open but also one from my WeRun summary that shows it clearly closed. On Wednesday I was awarded my “longest streak” badge and on Thursday I was back to a one day streak. I can’t make it up. My stand hours and exercise minutes suddenly went out of control too saying I did over 1000 minutes of exercise and stood for 24 hours. Not true.

Yes 2 days does seem impossible. Maybe you were mistaken.
