Photo app problems

Pull up my photo app and no pics tried repair but it goes back to screen welcome to photos

You may need to point Photos to the location of your Photos Library.

Quit Photos, if it is running.
Launch Photos again, while holding down the options key ⌥. Release the key, when the dialog to choose a library appears.
Now select all libraries shown in turn to find back to your main Photos Library.

If you do not see your Photos Library that you want to use, it may be on an external volume that is not supported for Photos. In that case move your Photos Library to a supported external volume, as described here: Move your Photos library to save space on your Mac - Apple Support
