My wife's computer is a 2020 M1 MacBook Air, with Ventura installed via software update.
The clock app is not in applications, and spotlight cannot find it either.
I tested for malware and there was nothing there and no warnings either.
What can we do about it, please?

My 2020 M1 MBA running Ventura 13.1 does have the Application in both Launchpad ( image 1 below ) and in Applications folder ( image two below)
Sometimes the below method may just put things right 🤞
1 - Restart in Safe Mode. This will perform a Disk Repair, clear cache files and only load Apple Software, extensions and fonts. The boot up will be slow and can take some time - Normal.
2 - Safe Mode will also eliminate Third Party Software, extensions and drivers from loading. It will only load the Minimum amount of Core Apple Processes to allow the the computer to function at a reduced Level of Performance
3 - Does the issue present in this mode ?
4 - Sometimes a Safe Boot followed by a Normal Boot will just put things right.
Download and run the shareware app Find Any File to search for the Clock app. You'd do the following search(es):
1 - Name contains clock.app
FAF can search areas that Spotlight can't like invisible folders, system folders and packages.
Since it's part of the system it should be there.
If Find Any File doesn't find it boot into the Recovery volume (boot with the Command + R keys held down - Intel Macs) or (How to Boot an M1 Mac into Recovery Mode) and reinstall the system.

Is Ventura updated all the way up to 13.1?
