Clean install on MacBook Air 2014 gone wrong, I cannot install a new version of OS?
I wanted to do a clean install on my old MacBook Air (early 2014, running on OS Catalina) before selling it. I've erased my Mac and wanted to reinstall OS. I accidentally rebooted the Mac and now my Mac wants to reinstall the old OS version I purchased it with, OS Mavericks. However, the reinstall is not possible; I cannot select a hard disk to install Mavericks on.
I don't have a back-up anymore, since I was gonna sell this one (my Time Machine data has been transferred to my new Mac).
Could someone please help me how I can install an OS version on my Mac?
Thanks in advance!
Kind regards,
Eveline
