Apple Card After Bankruptcy?

I had an Apple Card that was included in my bankruptcy, discharged in Oct 2022. I tried applying again and it stated an account is associated under my apple ID. Has anyone else ever been in this situation?

AppleCard and Bankruptcy I saw an earlier thread but it wouldn’t let me add to the conversation so I’m just adding what I was told.. I had an AppleCard but also had to go through bankruptcy in 2020. My debt was absolved however, AppleCard still shows my debt and will not allow me to reapply because it is connected to my appleID. I was advised by AppleCard/Goldman Sachs support that the only way to get AppleCard again was to apply with a different Id. This doesn’t seem right to me, as I was absolved of the debt. The debt shouldn’t show anymore, shouldn’t be connected with me nor my appleID and I shouldn’t have to “create a new identity” to be able to try and reestablish my credit in the world. A lot of people had unforeseen circumstances occur since 2020 and it doesn’t seem right, so hopefully this helps someone who is in a similar situation if not knowing why the system won’t let them apply again, and if anyone is able to help me reestablish my AppleCard I would appreciate it greatly!

I cancelled my Apple Card account and I can't re-open a new account I cancelled my Apple Card account because of a negative experience with Goldman Sachs. When trying to re-open a new account, the app is not allowing me to do so. I'm being told I need to create a new Apple ID, which I don't want. How can I fix this? Both with my old Apple Card in my wallet and with it removed, when I select the option to add a new card and apply for an Apple Card, I get an error saying "Apple Card unavailable. Please try again later." I chatted with several support reps to no avail. They were all very resigned, unhelpful, and were apparently giving answers without doing research into my account. Very, very, very disappointing after my negative interaction that lead me to close my card. [Re-Titled by Moderator]

I believe that you'll be unable to apply again using the same Apple ID but it's best to contact support.
