I updated to Ventura 13.1 and now my Esc Key doesn't work to leave full screen in any application. All other keys are working fine. I saw a previous question and tried all of the tips in the response but so far nothing has worked. Anyone else experiencing this?

I would check to see if you inadvertently changed the key assignment. Go to System Settings, Keyboard, Press the button Keyboard Shortcuts. Then click on each of the items in the list to the left as shown here:
Then check each one of them, one by one, to see if any of the keys show the 'esc' key.
If you want to save time and don't mind losing any custom mappings, it might be safer to choose The button in the lower left called, "Restore Defaults". That will fix it IF it was remapped.

Perhaps the information is the 2 below links will help in this matter.
In both cases a Restart in Safe Mode was required follow by a Normal Boot.
Safe Boot will perform a Disk Repair, clear cache files and only load Apple Software, extensions and fonts. The boot up will be slow and can take some time - Normal.
