My left Beats Studio Bud squeals

After a few minutes of use my left Beats Studio Bud earpiece gets a loud squeal as if it's experiencing feedback. I've had them for about a year now so I'm sure they're not under warranty anymore but has anyone found a solution to this. I see that a lot of people have the exact same issue. Are they supposed to be disposable?

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities.


Try resetting your Beats to help get the sound working properly again:


1. Place both earbuds in the charging case. Leave the case open.
2. Press and hold the system button on the case for 15 seconds or until the LED indicator light flashes red and white.
3. Release the system button.

The LED indicator light will continue to flash white, which means that you can pair your Beats Studio Buds with your iPhone, Mac, Android device, or other device again.

Reset your Beats Studio Buds - Apple Support


Should the issue persist, Contact Apple Support for additional guidance.
