2 eSims - same number

I have an iPhone 14 that shows 2 eSims; one for my old carrier and one for my current carrier. They are both the same current cell number. Can I delete the prior carrier one without impacting my current carrier eSim?

Yes. The prior one isn’t valid, as a given number can only be active with one SIM.
