CarPlay has stopped working
CarPlay is suddenly not working in my car, wirelessly or wired. The car recognizes my iPhone, but I get an error message that says “CarPlay is unable to connect.”

Try this.

In your car's Infotainment Display, find a menu that could be called "USB Connections, Bluetooth Connections, CarPlay, etc." - find your connected iPhone and delete it from there.

On your iPhone, go to Settings > Bluetooth.
Find your car's bluetooth connection and delete it.

Also, check that your iPhone is fully updated, go to:
Settings > General > Software Update

Then restart your iPhone

In your car. Make sure you are parked, and preferably with the handbrake applied or your automatic transmission in "P", start setting up the connection again.
