iPhone 8 Plus home button vibration problem

I was wondering if someone has figured out the fix for iPhone 8 Plus home button vibrating problem. I have gone to ‘Sounds and Haptics’ Turned off all Haptics, including System Haptics. So far I’ve seen one reply, saying to take it in for a repair. I refuse to believe that is the only way to stop the vibration. Can there be a Developer section on iPhone 8 Plus? And could there be an advanced setting that would turn off the unwanted vibration for iPhone 8 Plus? Thanks to anyone that can help answer this.

iPhone 8 Plus, iOS 16

Hello SIMSREALITY,

The only options for toggling vibration are in Settings > Sounds & Haptics and in Settings > Accessibility: Customize iPhone for vibration sensitivities - Apple Support

If it's not turning off, it is unintended. If the same vibration happens even while restarting the iPhone (which may help clear out the issue if it's temporary), the best step would be as the reply you mentioned stated and to look into service options to get a more hands on look at it: iPhone Repair & Service - Apple Support

Here are the steps for restarting the iPhone in case you needed them: Restart your iPhone - Apple Support

How to restart your iPhone 6, 7, 8, or SE (2nd or 3rd generation)
1. Press and hold the side button until the power-off slider appears.
""

2. Drag the slider, then wait 30 seconds for your device to turn off. If your device is frozen or unresponsive, force restart your device.
3. To turn your device back on, press and hold the side button until you see the Apple logo.

Take care and stay safe.
