iPhone 14 pro max has an issue of join network. (iOS16.3)

I have a iPhone 14 pro max with iOS16.3 and a non-internet Dashcam (act as a AP).

When the phone is connected via the phone Wi-Fi setting, it seems to connect well.

It shows check mark left side with "No Internet Connection" which is correct.

However, the dashcam App cannot communicate with the dashcam when I run the dashcam App.

It seems that the App doensn't get the ip address of the currently connected dashcam Wi-Fi.

Other iphones are working fine, but this specific phone is suffering from this problem all the time. Does anyone have the same phenomena? or simmilar with this issue?

Thank you for reaching out in Apple Support Communities. Based on the information you provided this seems isolated to the app for Dashcam. To help troubleshoot this behavior, we recommend for you to follow these steps for Dashcam:

1. Close and reopen the app

Force the app to close. Then open the app to see if it works as expected.

2. Restart your device

Restart your iPhone or restart your iPad. Then open the app to see if it works as expected.

3. Check for updates

To see if updates are available for the app, open the App Store, tap your profile icon, then scroll down to see if updates are available. If updates aren't available for the app, update the software on your iPhone or iPad.

4. Delete the app, then redownload it

Delete the app. When you do this, you might lose data that was stored in the app. Then redownload the app. Then check to see if the problem with the app is fixed.

Thank you for your kind explanation for this problem.

We have followed all steps above, but still the problem persists.

It seems that a number of issues are reported in different areas.

Strangely, when we use other iPhone14 phones and old series phones, the problem doesn't happen.

We think it happens on the specific iPhone14 Pro Max deivces rather than the App itself.
