I read mail and texts on my phone and I open my laptop and there are unread texts and unread emails. I choose "synchronize accounts" nothing works. I am logged in with same Apple ID - everything is set to sync on both devices....I am wasting so much time reading emails that I have already read and checking to make sure that I did in fact respond. HELP!

If you are signed in with the same AppleID...
The way to jump start sync is to sign out of icloud and back in again

Thanks but I have signed in and out if all devices ten times and press synch etc and nothing works.
My MacBook Pro is not syncing mail and texts as read after reading them on iPhone
