Watching Apple TV + on a Windows 11 PC

So I have been playing Apple content on my PC (Chrome) for more than a year. In the last two days I have been continually prompted to log in even though my account shows that I am signed in. Finally after being asked to provide my CVV repeatedly I was able to get in and enter the CVV in my payment method.

Now that that is fixed (hopefully for good), I still can't watch in Chrome. The playback is very distorted. Firefox works. Chrome is my default browser and I would prefer not to use Firefox.

Does anyone have any idea why this happened and provide me with a fix?
