IPad Pro Text Selection - Needs Work

I’m in Notes, and I make a selection of a paragraph of text. The contextual menu pops up and I can’t CUT, nor can I bring up the Keyboard to access the scissors tool icon without losing my selection. There should also be a Select All, so One can Select All, Cut, Change program, Paste. Thank you

Text replacement bug? Text replacement doesn’t work- when I write the shortcut, the full word is suggested to me in a smaller box next to the shortcut, but when I click on it- it just disappears without completing the word. This happens in browsers and in iPhone’s notes app. (-so it’s not a browser or compatibility thing). My iPhone is up to date iOS-wise. Thank you

Note taking in Apple Notes with pencil While I am in the middle of note taking with the Apple pencil. The notes go from being converted to typed notes in the notepad to a text box without me creating text box. This is a new issue in the past couple days. I notice a new arrow with a line too. This has continued even after updating and restarting the iPad. Is there any way to make stop this? Thanks!

no options menu when I select text on ipad I do not see an options menu after double-tapping to select text. According to the given instructions, I should select the word or words, them tap once to gt the copy/cut/look up .. menu, but all that happens is it un-highlights my selection.
