internet recovery mode - can't see password when i type, won't work as well

Hello,

due to software that won't work anymore on newer macos, I wanted to install older software so it worked again. If i start the recovery mode it's always the internet recovery. When selected my network I have to type my password. When i wanna do that nothing appears. Can't even see the vertical pinking stripe as sign the textbox is selected.. When i hit enter the loading wheel does work though ..

I already tried to reset my wifi and router. Also my pram/vram.

Any other ideas, suggestions ?

You can try using a bootable macOS USB installer instead using the instructions in this Apple article:

Create a bootable installer for macOS - Apple Support

This option allows you to choose the OS you want to use as well instead of being restricted to at most three versions with Internet Recovery Mode.
