Is this email legit

I got a notification on my phone (iPhone XR) this morning that someone was attempting to log in to my Apple ID in Maryland I think it was. The notification was part of the 2 step verification I turned on which is attached to my phone number. I denied access to the request and changed my password right from 2 step when it asked. I got an email after changing it from “noreply@email.apple.com saying my account was accessed via web browser at 9:15 AM PST. I am in EST. I decided to change it again via my Apple ID settings in my phone and got another email just like it from the exact same email at 9:25 AM PST. The emails I received from apple telling me my password was changed were from a different email, had a different look, and correctly addressed the time in my time zone. I’m thinking that the two emails I got were not legit and that whoever was trying to get into my account was stopped the moment I clicked decline on the two step verification notification.

But both emails say they are verified as official apple emails. I did a little bit of research and saw one thread saying that the email “noreply@email.apple.com” is fake. So as far as I know nobody got into my account. My password is strong and I clicked the sign out all devices thing when I initially changed it. Am I safe to add my payment information back into my wallet?
