Is it possible to have multi-room music play with a HomePod and multiple HomePod Minis (all of the speakers playing the same thing)?

I have 2 HomePod minis and am considering getting a HomePod. I'd like to put the HomePod in the living room for sound from the TV and the HomePod Minis in 2 different rooms. I read that I can stream music to multiple HomePod Minis but cannot find any information on being able to stream music "everywhere" simultaneously in my home through a HomePod and HomePod Minis. I understand it is not possible to pair a HomePod with the HomePod Minis, hence the question.

Yes it works. Performance can sometimes be a bit spotty, perhaps a function of bandwidth and not the best Wi-Fi coverage in my place. I've got an original HomePod, three minis, and just added a HomePod 2 to my collection. I can get them all to play the same content at once, in sync. Either you start playing something on one and then say "Hey Siri, play this everywhere", or you use the feature to control other speakers to add speakers to the current one.
