Genius results can't be updated right now. An unknown error occurred (0x80090302)

Same problem here. It was working fine a couple of weeks ago or so, but now I get the same message everytime (0x80090302).

I have tried everything suggested here but without any luck.

*OS Windows 7.

Does anyone have any updates?

Its getting frustrating now and I think everyone will be feeling the same … come on Apple how about a fix

Having the same exact problem right now. Tried some fixes but doesn't work. I have a 10 year old laptop with Windows 7. I can't access the music I bought on my iPhone and it's frustrating :'(

PS the only difference is that I’m no longer getting the unknown error message - I can rip CDs but presumably there’s no iCloud connection, which is why ripped tracks won’t appear on my iPod …?

This is perhaps linked to the retirement of older security protocols. Windows 7 is no longer getting updates, but websites are.

I did update to the latest iTunes, as well …

Exact same issue here, on Windows 8.1. Was working fine until very recently. Replying to add to the noise--hopefully it can be fixed. (Yes, I know MS no longer supports Win 8.1.)

Unfortunately for me, Apple Support has been a Black Hole.

Apple seem to be actively supporting three releases of macOS. If the machine you buy isn't capable of running at least Big Sur then you will fall behind very quickly.

Thanks for this, I did this to update to windows 10 and although it took a lifetime to install this, the iTunes update, and update iCloud music, it’s now all working again.
