I have read all the questions regarding a business being listed as closed, when it's not. We have cleared it up on google, and contrary to the comments, our Apple Maps is still stating we are closed. If google owns the apple map site, then why wouldn't they both be fixed?

Unfortunately there is no support in these user-to-user forums for Apple's business and educational initiatives. You need to contact Apple support directly.
In spite of the poorly-chosen name of these forums, we are not Apple support but end users like you.
I believe that, prior conversations I read stated otherwise. Thank you for responding. Any thoughts on remedying this?
