WiFi Calling

I've just bought an Apple watch and need WiFi calling to be able to use it around the house without carrying my iPhone 11 around with me. I have a payg O2 Sim which I need to change to one that supports WiFi Calling, but cannot see any WiFi calling option under iPhone Settings! Will it magically appear once I change to a suitable Sim or do I need to do something else?

If your cellular carrier offers Wi-Fi calling, you can use your Apple Watch to make and receive calls over Wi-Fi instead of the cellular network—even when your paired iPhone isn’t with you or is turned off. Your Apple Watch just has to be within range of a Wi-Fi network that your iPhone has connected to in the past.
