iPhone Hotspot keeps disconnecting

iPhone's made hotspot only works steady with Apple computer. As soon as you use it with any other computer, it keeps randomly disconnecting over and over again. No matter if you keep your screen on or off, phone is in low power mode or not, if you have the latest iPhone or not, etc. It is impossible to do any quality work on your laptop using iPhone's hotspot. It has nothing to do with software updates or anything like that as I am always running the latest version of iOS. I have read on the internet so many threads about this. It is something that Apple just refuses to fix for years. Or does that on purpose.. Whatever the case is - it is absolutely not nice, as it resembles the quality of Apple's products and service. So frustrated and disappointed.....

I have an I phone 13 pro max and was facing this issue! All I did was turned on the hotspot and turned off the option maximize compatibility and connected my hotspot and it works well! Try this and hope it helps all those who are facing this issue.

This is a deliberate feature. Apple installed type C now reminding that until something happens like this, it wont change the issues like hotspot too.

Tried "Connect even if the network is not broadcasting its name (SSID)" this has no effect.

Thanks man! It works to me in Windows 11. Before, the connection was constantly dropping. Not anymore.

Yes, exactly I have the same issue and I believe it is due to poor design of Apple products and s.up.d creativities of Steve Jobs.

Same SIM used on iPad nor 7 years old android do not have disconnect issue; another misleading information is connecting iPhone error in showing hotspot is connected to hotspot from originator.

We are paying a premium price & still getting these unfixable problems.

If I am keeping an Android as a secondary.

I would better switch to Samsung completely.

Hi, I have a physical SIM card for internet and eSIM for phone calls. So if I use a hotspot I never get disconnected because of a call, because I turn that card off for the duration of the hotspot. In all other cases (new email, etc) you have to set focus mode where you exclude all necessary apps
