IOS 16.3.1

I have an Iphone 8, I just complete the update to the latest IOS 16.3.1. Before this my phone was working properly but since the update if I click on Safari or anything web related my battery goes from 100% to 0% and my phone shut down. I reopen and the phone is at 10% and if I close and reopen it will be back around 63%. I tried doing a full reset and left the phone to charge overnight and this morning I go to set the phone from scratch and bang after entering my info phone dies and reboot at 10%. If the phone is plug in I can access web /Safari without issue. My battery life was at 85% before the update. Is there a glitch in the new ios?
