Hello - I bought this Iphone last May and my friend has been paying for Applecare+. But when I checked my warranty, it says I have only limited warranty. I wonder if my friend stopped renewing its subscription fee, and when was the last time it was covered. Thanks.

You can’t. What makes you think you ever had AppleCare+ on your phone? If it’s billed monthly, it charges to the payment method registered to your Apple ID.
